Awards
Garden Centers of Colorado member stores can enter
our 2nd annual awards competition for the best indoor display, best outdoor
display, and most creative event. The applications will be posted
this summer and are
due in August. Watch for more information!

In the spring we contacted the local garden club, Top of The World Garden Club in Gunnison CO, about 30 miles from our shop. We invited the club to hold their spring meeting at our shop. This meeting is in June and we held a tea party in their honor. We had teapots, china cups, finger sandwiches and tea cookies. Their 25 members loved the party — we felt it worked because it opened us to a new group of customers and some of them have become loyal shoppers. We would hold this event again. |
